My connection to the land runs deep.

As a Wildlife Biologist and natural resources professional, I have spent over 30 years committed to land stewardship working with farmers, ranchers, recreational and forest landowners. My experience has included land management planning, prairie and wetland restorations, wildlife habitat management, and native landscape design. I have led the management of tens of thousands of acres of public and private lands (including my family’s property), and have directed conservation initiatives throughout the Midwest.

Of course, connecting to the land isn’t always about work! I’ve been hunting and fishing my entire life and am especially fond of turkey hunting. Is there any better way to spend a day than enjoying the outdoors?

I’m a strong proponent of Aldo Leopold’s “Land Ethic”: that we are all members of the community that includes the soils, waters, plants, and animals, or collectively, the land.

It would be an honor to assist you in finding that connection to a special piece of land, or to help you pass along the legacy to the next steward.
